Lawrence Benson brings over two decades of extensive experience across health and social care, underpinned by a professional background as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. He has worked across a diverse range of clinical settings, including inpatient nursing wards, community mental health teams, crisis services, and rapid response units – notably contributing to frontline care through a 999 mental health response team.

In addition to his clinical practice, Lawrence has held leadership roles within quality and compliance, where he has overseen service standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory performance. His expertise in navigating the complex landscape of health and social care compliance led him to establish and now lead a regulatory consultancy team, where he provides strategic guidance to providers and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Lawrence is also a CQC nominated individual for a health and social care business with a deep understanding of regulatory expectations, service user rights, and cultural sensitivity in care delivery.​
