Bilal Sheikh 
Clinical Specialist (Physiotherapy)

Bilal is an Advanced Practice Therapist and business owner. He is experienced in leading and developing teams and services in the neurological rehabilitation field including the redevelopment of facilities and creating staff development pathways and resources. 

Bilal and his teams have provided physiotherapy services in hospitals, nursing and care facilities, people's homes and in outpatient, and community settings.  He has a keen interest in supporting people with neurological and orthopaedic injuries improve their independence including return to recreational fitness activities or assist in longer term planning to support their quality of life.

Bilal has also studied Mechanical Engineering and Material Science at university alongside working in the health and fitness industry and secondary education prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist, so you may find him working on cars and bikes, making non smart electronics work with smart home features  (hey Alexa, turn on the robot vacuum cleaner with no WiFi access programmed as a lightbulb 💡). The teaching element remains an active part of his role in developing staff skillset, and the engineering background has also allowed Bilal to work as a consulting therapist in a rehabilitation technology company.

Outside of work, Bilal enjoys training for events such as triathlons and off-road bike racing and finding out about the latest technical innovation happening in formula one.
